Welcome to Right at Home of the CSRA

Kathy Crist, owner and operator of Right at Home of the CSRA, was first introduced to the need for senior in-home services as a senior care representative for an area retirement community. From this experience, Kathy has first-hand knowledge of the struggles and fears of seniors leaving their homes.

At a turning point in her life, Kathy realized she was yearning for a career that made a difference in people's lives. She has always enjoyed interaction with seniors. One of her fondest memories from childhood was spending weekends with her grandmother learning how to sew and working in the garden. Today Kathy appreciates hearing life experiences of seniors and has realized they have a lot to share, if we take the time to listen.

Kathy has delivered Meals on Wheels and has been active for several years in the Aiken Memory Walk to support the Alzheimer's Association. She is a member of the Aiken End of Life Coalition and is active in the Aiken Mid-Day Lions Club which supports the blind, hearing impaired and residents of Helping Hands – a shelter for abused children in Aiken County.

Kathy and her husband Mark have enjoyed the CSRA for more than 20 years. They live in a rural setting Montmorenci, SC. Prior to starting Right at Home of the CSRA, Kathy held many upper management positions in apparel importing and buying across the southeast. She has a BS degree from the Department of Human Resources and Education, West Virginia University.

"But I have lived in my home for 45 years." Right at Home realizes that like all of us, seniors prefer living in the comfort of their own home.

• Our caregivers are tested, trained, compassionate, friendly and caring.
• Prior to starting service, we consult with the new client and their family members to create a customized care plan.
• Every effort is made to match the most suited caregiver to the client and to maintain a consistent caregiver for each client.
• We maintain ongoing communications with our client and their families to discuss the progress of our client.
• As our client needs change, so can our services.

Safety and Security:

• All caregivers are employees at Right at Home; not independent contractors. They are bonded and covered by Professionally Liability and Workman's Compensations Insurance.
• Our caregivers are thoroughly screened prior to hiring, including a full criminal background and motor vehicle check.
